Key Qualifications:
- Registered or registry-eligible as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound, with experience performing abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and vascular studies
- Strong knowledge of sonographic equipment, imaging protocols, and anatomy
- Ability to assess images for technical quality and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and medical staff
- Compliance with safety, infection control, and privacy regulations
- Current BLS certification
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred

- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations
- Review and evaluate images for clarity and completeness before submission to radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all performed exams
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of imaging equipment
