Step into a vital imaging role performing a range of ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality patient care throughout late afternoons and evenings. Your expertise will support diagnostic efforts across obstetric, general, and vascular cases.

Schedule:

  • 12:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Ultrasound Imaging – General, OB, and Vascular
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or equivalent credential preferred
  • Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to produce diagnostic-quality images and perform exams with accuracy and compassion
  • Strong technical and patient care skills
  • Adaptable, organized, and comfortable handling a range of exam types
  • Up-to-date BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound studies in accordance with physician orders and protocols
  • Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment; maintain accuracy in image capture and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and image integrity in accordance with hospital standards
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and infection control procedures at all times
