Ultrasonographer Tech - Vestal, New York

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled sonographer specializing in general ultrasound. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic clinical environment and the chance to utilize advanced imaging skills in a supportive team setting. The assignment begins on April 21, 2025, and emphasizes high standards in patient care and technical expertise.

Schedule:

• 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency necessary
• Active certification required:
  • Sonography (S) by ARRT
  • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • Vascular Sonography (VS) or Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, or Breast/OB-GYN RDMS by ARDMS preferred
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• State licensure as mandated

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in compliance with current clinical protocols
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging results into the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to communicate findings and support patient diagnoses
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies, following strict safety standards
• Demonstrate compassionate patient care during procedures
• Adjust to various patient needs and procedures, ensuring consistent imaging excellence
