Required Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical setting
• Strong proficiency in performing and interpreting general ultrasound studies
• Familiarity with equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality control standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound procedures as ordered by medical staff, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort throughout each exam
• Prepare patients for exams, obtaining pertinent medical history and explaining procedures
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, as well as troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Accurately document and maintain patient records, adhering to facility protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Work efficiently to accommodate patient schedules and minimize wait times
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines as set by regulatory agencies
