Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent required)
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging protocols and procedures
• Previous clinical experience as a Sonographer, preferably in diverse healthcare settings
• Strong ability to communicate findings to radiologists, physicians, and patients
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality imaging standards
• Familiarity with standard ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced, patient-focused atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of general ultrasound imaging exams with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality diagnostic information
• Record, document, and archive exam findings appropriately according to facility guidelines
• Educate patients and address any concerns regarding the procedure
• Uphold infection control and safety measures at all stages of the exam process
