A skilled ultrasound professional is needed to join a dedicated imaging department on a contract basis. The primary focus will be performing general ultrasound studies with precision and compassion, contributing expertise to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

Key Qualifications:

• Credentialed as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent certification required)
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging procedures and protocols
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
• Experience adjusting equipment and optimizing images for diagnostic clarity
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Commitment to patient comfort, confidentiality, and safety

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of general ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality imaging results
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes to help alleviate concerns
• Accurately document and report findings for physician review
• Follow infection control and quality assurance standards at all times
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff for seamless care delivery
