Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or eligible to obtain certification.
• Proven experience performing and interpreting general ultrasound examinations.
• Strong understanding of sonographic principles, equipment, and patient positioning.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ability to maintain documentation accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Flexibility in adapting to fast-paced clinical environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic general ultrasound imaging to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
• Prepare, educate, and position patients to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, following all safety protocols.
• Record and review test results, reporting findings to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff and respond promptly to requests or changes in patient status.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
