The assignment is set for 13 weeks, offering an engaging chance to further develop your skills while supporting patient diagnosis and care.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour shifts per week
  • Weekend nights

Qualifications:

  • Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a clinical environment
  • Proficient in general ultrasound imaging protocols and techniques
  • Strong communication and patient care interaction abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations with a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and ensuring their comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information
  • Maintain equipment, manage imaging records, and ensure compliance with facility protocols
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold safety standards at all times
  • Respond efficiently to urgent requests and adapt to varying caseloads during night shifts
