This contract opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care using advanced ultrasound technology.

Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Three 12-hour shifts on weekend nights

Required Qualifications:

  • Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a General Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer
  • Strong ability to communicate with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as requested by physicians
  • Accurately document findings, maintain imaging records, and adhere to all department protocols and safety guidelines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and provide compassionate support throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborate with the radiology and patient care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment, consistently meeting infection control standards
