Take the opportunity to bring your expertise in diagnostic imaging to a healthcare environment where patient care and skillful ultrasound assessments are valued. This 20-week contract position is designed for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer eager to make a meaningful impact.

Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday)
  • 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Participation in call rotation is required

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credential required
  • Demonstrated skill in general ultrasound procedures and imaging protocols
  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, patient safety, and equipment operation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to enhance patient comfort and team collaboration
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar ultrasound technologist role preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound scans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to physician orders
  • Evaluate images and provide preliminary findings to interpreting physicians
  • Maintain imaging equipment in excellent working condition
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data into electronic medical records
  • Support patient education, preparation, and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, clinicians, and support teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, responding promptly and professionally as needed
