Key Qualifications:

• Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS preferred)
• Proficient in General Ultrasound Imaging
• Demonstrated ability to perform a range of sonographic examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and up-to-date safety standards
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining the process and maintaining a comfortable environment
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image capture and patient safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to provide accurate study interpretations
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in accordance with facility protocols
• Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and equipment quality assurance as required
