Seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to contribute expertise in a supportive healthcare environment on a 20-week assignment. This rewarding role is ideal for professionals eager to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Participation in call rotation is required
Qualifications:
- Current certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience performing ultrasound studies across general imaging protocols; proficiency with abdominal and small parts assessments preferred
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare patients and explain examination procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Properly maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure work areas meet all safety and cleanliness standards
- Accurately document and communicate findings to physicians and relevant clinical personnel
- Support a collaborative team approach by assisting colleagues and participating in call rotation as needed
