Step into a vital role supporting patient care as an experienced Ultrasound Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference through high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • 20 weeks duration
  • Four 10-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Call rotation required

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Proficiency in performing general ultrasound imaging procedures
  • Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer
  • Active ARDMS certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure precise image interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
  • Participate in a call rotation as scheduled, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in response to urgent imaging needs
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any issues for prompt resolution
