Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial and venous studies of the extremities, carotid duplex, and abdominal vasculature
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with protocol
• Practice proper patient positioning and preparation to ensure comfort and diagnostic accuracy
• Analyze, interpret, and document test results with keen attention to detail
• Communicate findings effectively to physicians and medical staff
• Uphold safety, infection control, and proper patient privacy standards at all times
• Maintain records and comply with hospital and departmental policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or vascular technology program
• Demonstrated experience with vascular ultrasound imaging in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with current vascular ultrasound equipment and associated software
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to technical detail
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
