Key Qualifications:

• Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer from an accredited program
• Proven proficiency in vascular ultrasound imaging, including arterial and venous studies
• Current registration with ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or equivalent credential
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with referring providers to ensure appropriate imaging for each patient
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns
• Review, analyze, and present imaging results for physician interpretation
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards
• Properly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Practice infection control and safety measures at all times in the imaging suite
