Vascular Ultrasonographer Tech in Apex, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday
• No on-call requirements
• No weekend shifts
• Ability to work holidays if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies using Doppler and physiologic testing
• Write preliminary reports and promptly communicate acute findings to the care team
• Obtain and review relevant patient health history prior to each exam to ensure high-quality imaging
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for the day’s cases and maintain cleanliness and readiness between procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, reporting any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Engage in staff training and educational activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of four (4) years of vascular ultrasound experience
• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One of the following credentials: RDCS or RVT through ARDMS, or RCS/ACS/RCCS through CCI

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
