Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare scan rooms and patients for MRI examinations, ensuring optimal conditions for high-quality imaging.
• Administer IV or oral contrast agents when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and patient screening for contraindications.
• Operate advanced MRI equipment, calibrating scan parameters and selecting correct protocols, coils, and restraints.
• Transport, assist, and position patients for exams, maintaining attentive patient care and accurate orientation/marking.
• Organize and prepare comprehensive imaging records for radiologist review, ensuring all clinical data and studies are complete and accurately sequenced.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist, with proficiency in Vascular Ultrasound a plus.
• Certification or registry in MRI required (ARRT or equivalent); BLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge of MRI safety, contrast media, and patient screening.
