Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in Ultrasound
- Proven experience in vascular ultrasound procedures
- Strong understanding of ultrasound physics, image optimization, and patient positioning
- Proficiency with modern ultrasound equipment and relevant software
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain precise documentation
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including carotid, venous, and arterial exams, per physician orders
- Obtain, review, and document patient clinical history relevant to imaging procedures
- Ensure image quality by operating and calibrating ultrasound equipment accurately
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support clinical diagnosis
- Monitor patient safety before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Keep accurate records and update patient charts promptly
- Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment
