Step into a critical diagnostic role as a skilled Vascular Sonographer, providing expert care and detailed imaging for vascular assessments. This position involves an 8-week contract with full-time, guaranteed hours, ensuring both stability and professional growth in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 40 guaranteed hours weekly
  • 5 shifts of 8 hours each, during the day
  • Staggered start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
  • On-call responsibilities: one night per week, one weekend per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams, including carotid, venous, arterial, and other peripheral studies
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services
  • Analyze sonographic findings and prepare thorough reports
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all safety protocols
  • Provide patient education and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Meet hospital and regulatory standards for charting and documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) with vascular certification
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Current license to practice as a sonographer in Mississippi
  • Demonstrated experience in vascular ultrasound/sonography in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team
