Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position

Qualifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with specific focus in echocardiography
  • Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
  • Minimum 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification is required
  • Valid CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Strong technical skills and proven ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal acumen
  • Meticulous organizational and time management skills, with proven success meeting deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality vascular ultrasound and echocardiography studies with precision and care
  • Provide accurate diagnostic data to assist physicians in patient care and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with team members while also operating independently as needed
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to all compliance, privacy, and safety protocols
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with patients and healthcare providers
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during procedures
  • Maintain and document all relevant clinical information accurately
