Vascular Ultrasonographer Tech in Cary, NC

Step into an essential role performing diagnostic imaging services specializing in vascular studies. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, beginning 9/21/26 and offers a consistent daytime schedule of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This position is well-suited for professionals seeking a new clinical environment to advance their expertise in vascular ultrasound.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year’s experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer, with a focus on vascular imaging
• Current BLS certification
• RVT credential required (Registered Vascular Technologist)
• One RDMS registry (Abdomen or OB/GYN) required; CCI RVS also accepted
• No state licensure required
• Experience with peripheral vascular disease imaging preferred
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate attention to detail
• Open to both first-time travelers and local candidates

Schedule:

• Days: 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30), Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Accurately document imaging findings and maintain detailed records in the electronic medical system
• Support patient comfort and safety throughout diagnostic procedures
• Communicate critical imaging results to healthcare providers in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care, particularly for individuals with peripheral vascular disease

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
