Vascular Ultrasonographer Tech in Cary, NC

Seeking a skilled professional to provide vascular ultrasound services in a healthcare setting. This is a contract opportunity tailored to those with extensive experience in sonography, particularly vascular imaging.

Schedule:

• 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• No on-call required
• No weekends required
• Flexibility to work holidays if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound evaluations, including Doppler and physiologic studies
• Obtain detailed patient health histories prior to diagnostic procedures
• Generate preliminary reports and effectively communicate acute findings to the care team
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to quality standards
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, escalating to the appropriate supervisor as necessary
• Participate in staff training, support ongoing education, and uphold a high level of expertise in vascular ultrasound technology

Qualifications:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in vascular sonography or related imaging specialties
• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a closely related field OR successful completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
  • RDCS or RVT from ARDMS
  • RCS, ACS, or RCCS from CCI

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
