Travel Ultrasonographer Technologist | Chicago, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• Days: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 am – 5:30 pm) or 5x8-hour shifts (various start times, between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm)
• Weekend rotation: Saturdays (work required), Sunday call
• On-Call: Mon-Fri (5:30 pm – 9:30 pm), Saturday (varies, ends 9:30 pm), Sunday (7:00 am – 9:30 pm)
• Holiday coverage as scheduled
• Travel between multiple area hospitals and outpatient sites required for comprehensive coverage

Qualifications:

• Completion of a 2-year ultrasound program
• State licensure as a Vascular Technologist (RVT or RVS)
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical vascular ultrasound experience strongly preferred
• Solid experience performing arterial, venous, & carotid imaging independently (required); advanced vascular studies a plus
• Flexibility to float to several partner hospitals and off-site centers
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform a broad range of vascular ultrasound studies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple hospital campuses and outpatient sites
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal imaging results
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per facility protocols
• Participate in weekend, evening, and holiday shifts as scheduled
