Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Current certification in MRI Technology
- Experience with both vascular ultrasound and MRI scans
- Proficiency in administering and evaluating contrast materials
- Strong patient assessment and communication abilities
- Adept at working with imaging technology and medical software
- ACLS/BLS as required by facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare scan rooms and patients for various imaging examinations
- Draw up and administer IV or oral contrast, as indicated
- Perform equipment warm-up procedures, enter patient data, and review exam protocols
- Interview and screen patients to identify contraindications for MRI studies
- Assist and position patients, administer contrast, and conduct imaging as per established protocols
- Maintain accurate records, proper image orientation, and ensure exam completeness for radiologist review
