Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with varied shift rotations based on facility requirements
Candidate Qualifications:
- Valid credentials: RDCS, RCS, RCCS, RVT, or RVS
- Required: Extensive breast ultrasound experience
- Proven skills in vascular and/or cardiac sonography procedures
- Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- If cardiac-certified: Perform procedures such as echocardiograms, TEEs, TTEs, stress echos, and structure heart imaging
- If vascular-certified: Execute procedures including upper/lower venous and arterial duplexes, dialysis grafts, venous insufficiency tests, pulse volume recordings, and ABIs
- Ensure meticulous, timely documentation in patient charts (EPIC system) and manage proper procedure billing
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of procedure rooms and equipment
- Answer patient and family inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with medical staff to address abnormal imaging results
- Strictly protect patient confidentiality
