Key Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification in Vascular Technology (RVT) required
• Proficient in performing and interpreting peripheral vascular, cerebrovascular, and abdominal vascular ultrasounds
• Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic principles
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians
• Accurately compile study documentation and technical impressions for radiological interpretation
• Maintain equipment functionality through routine care and reporting any operational issues
• Ensure adherence to all facility protocols, HIPAA regulations, and infection control policies
• Educate and prepare patients for vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Collaborate with clinicians and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
