Vascular Ultrasonographer - Durham, NC

Deliver expert ultrasound care in a vital diagnostic role, specializing in vascular imaging and supporting accurate patient assessments. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment for experienced Ultrasound Techs/Sonographers comfortable with vascular procedures.

Schedule:

• Days: 5x8-Hour shifts
• Hours: 08:00 - 16:30
• Start Date: 9/21/26
• Duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
• Proficient in vascular ultrasound imaging, particularly for patients with peripheral vascular disease
• Certification as an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) is required
• Must hold one RDMS registry (Abdomen OR OB/GYN)
• BLS certification required
• CCI RVS certification accepted
• No state licensure required
• Open to first-time contract clinicians and local candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic vascular ultrasounds, delivering high-quality imaging
• Accurately document findings and communicate results to the clinical care team
• Collaborate with physicians in patient care planning, especially for peripheral vascular disease cases
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standards
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and patient privacy regulations
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
