Vascular Ultrasonographer Tech in Durham, NC

This contract opportunity offers an engaging weekday schedule, working from 7:30am to 4:00pm with no weekend or on-call requirements. Flexibility is needed for holiday coverage when necessary.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures
• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field, or completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program
• Current BLS certification
• At least one of the following certifications: RDCS or RVT through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS through CCI

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct vascular ultrasound evaluations using Doppler and physiologic testing techniques
• Complete preliminary reports and promptly communicate acute findings to the healthcare team
• Gather pertinent patient health histories prior to every exam
• Prepare the procedure room and equipment before daily operations and efficiently reset between procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, escalating issues appropriately
• Assist in staff education and training as needed

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
