Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular ultrasound studies in accordance with established clinical protocols.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring precise image acquisition and interpretation.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to foster comfort and understanding.
  • Accurately document findings and maintain thorough, organized patient records.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and recommend follow-up actions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and privacy standards during all procedures.
  • Participate in regular quality assurance and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Current certification in Vascular Ultrasound (RVT or equivalent preferred).
  • Demonstrated proficiency performing a wide range of vascular studies.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology relevant to vascular sonography.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
