This travel MRI Technologist assignment offers exposure to a broad patient population, including specialized vascular ultrasound and MRI procedures, allowing you to master new protocols and refine your technical expertise.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare scan room and patients for MRI exams, ensuring readiness for high-quality imaging
- Draw up and administer IV or oral contrast materials as necessary
- Interview and screen patients for contraindications, explaining procedures thoroughly
- Transport, assist, and position patients safely and comfortably for each exam
- Perform warm-up procedures, enter patient and scan data, and review prior imaging
- Apply correct protocols and utilize appropriate equipment, materials, and restraints
- Maintain accurate records, organize images per order, and provide detailed information to radiologists
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT (MRI) or ARDMS certification preferred
- Experience with hospital-based MRI and vascular ultrasound imaging
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing clinical environments
