Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent certification in vascular ultrasound
• Proficient in utilizing imaging equipment for vascular studies and comprehensive ultrasounds
• Demonstrated experience performing diagnostic vascular sonography in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and vascular pathology
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and care teams
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and safety
• Adaptability and precision in following imaging protocols and documenting findings
• CPR certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, peripheral arterial, and venous exams
• Accurately capture and interpret images for timely review by physicians and care providers
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, delivering clear instructions and support
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary maintenance
• Document patient history and exam results in accordance with departmental policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent clinical service and facilitate care planning
• Uphold all facility and regulatory standards for infection control and diagnostic imaging
