Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vascular ultrasound studies and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment according to established protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient assessment and care planning
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and document findings promptly
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the imaging department
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, with a focus on vascular ultrasound
- Certification by ARDMS (or equivalent national credential) is required
- Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach toward patients
- Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
