Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a concentration in echocardiography
• Recognized certification in arrhythmia detection
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography professional
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
• Valid CPR certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Strong technical proficiency allowing for unsupervised work
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capability
• Talent for building rapport with patients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and precise echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring the highest quality imaging results
• Assess and identify arrhythmias, producing accurate reports for physician interpretation
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain clear communication with patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic insights
• Organize and prioritize workflow to meet scheduled deadlines and departmental needs
