Advance your career as a Vascular Sonographer specializing in Imaging – Ultrasound Vascular on an 8-week contract. In this crucial position, you’ll deliver high-quality vascular ultrasound studies to support patient diagnosis and treatment, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare staff. This opportunity offers a dynamic hospital environment and a well-structured schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 40 hours guaranteed each week
  • Five 8-hour shifts (day shift)
  • Staggered start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
  • On-call rotation includes 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month

Qualifications:

  • Current ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification required
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid Mississippi state license for vascular technology
  • Previous experience in vascular ultrasound/sonography preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasounds and support physicians in accurate patient assessment
  • Prepare and position patients; explain procedures for comfort and cooperation
  • Record and analyze sonographic data for physician review
  • Maintain equipment and ensure exam rooms are well supplied
  • Participate in call rotation and respond promptly as assigned
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality requirements
