Vascular Ultrasonographer Tech in Morrisville, NC

This contract opportunity is perfect for experienced vascular technologists and sonographers seeking a weekday role with a set schedule and no on-call or weekend requirements.

Schedule

• 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Holidays required, if needed

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of vascular or ultrasound experience
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field from an accredited program OR completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
• Active BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• At least ONE of the following credentials: RDCS or RVT (both through ARDMS), or RCS, ACS, or RCCS (all through CCI)
• Skilled in vascular imaging techniques, Doppler, and physiologic testing
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound assessments, including Doppler and physiologic testing
• Compile and provide preliminary findings to the medical care team, especially for acute results
• Obtain and document relevant patient health history information prior to imaging
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper equipment setup for each case, maintaining efficiency throughout the day
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues, escalating to supervisors when necessary
• Participate in staff training and educational initiatives as required
