Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program.
• Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with a vascular focus (RVT or equivalent preferred).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in vascular ultrasound or related imaging settings.
• Proficient in performing and interpreting vascular exams, including arterial, venous, and carotid studies.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to communicate findings clearly with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based position; schedule details to be communicated during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
• Accurately record, analyze, and report imaging results for physician review.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance and safety.
• Detail patient histories and exam findings in documentation systems.
• Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and physicians for comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to privacy policies, infection control practices, and ethical imaging standards.
