Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in performing quality vascular and echocardiogram studies
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong technical expertise and reliable judgment to function without supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and time management, consistently meeting deadlines
- Successful completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with emphasis on echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized arrhythmia detection course
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a registered echocardiographer
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credentials required
- Active CPR certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate vascular ultrasound and echocardiogram studies in accordance with clinical protocols
- Ensure all examinations are of diagnostic quality and adhere to confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to facilitate optimal patient care outcomes
- Document findings effectively and maintain meticulous patient records
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication
