Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in performing quality vascular and echocardiogram studies
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong technical expertise and reliable judgment to function without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management, consistently meeting deadlines
  • Successful completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with emphasis on echocardiography
  • Completion of a recognized arrhythmia detection course
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a registered echocardiographer
  • Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credentials required
  • Active CPR certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate vascular ultrasound and echocardiogram studies in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Ensure all examinations are of diagnostic quality and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to facilitate optimal patient care outcomes
  • Document findings effectively and maintain meticulous patient records
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication
