As a key member of the Sonography Department, you’ll be immersed in an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging services. You’ll sharpen your expertise in specialized vascular and general ultrasound studies, all while working alongside a knowledgeable, collaborative team that values diversity and innovation in clinical practice. With exposure to multiple care environments, you’ll expand your resume and adapt to various workplace methodologies and leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5x8s
  • Participation in rotating on-call schedule (1 weekday evening every other week, 1 weekend approximately every fifth week, shared among five technicians)

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform general and advanced vascular ultrasound studies (venous/arterial duplex, carotid, bypass graft, mesenteric/renal artery, vein mapping, fistula flow, venous reflux)
  • Support both routine and interventional radiology ultrasound imaging cases
  • Occasionally provide services at additional sites and clinics affiliated with the center
  • Maintain high clinical standards in line with IAC accreditation requirements

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification (required)
  • Minimum four years of ultrasound experience preferred
  • Solid foundation in performing a wide variety of vascular studies independently
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification preferred
  • Strong assessments and demonstrated competency in each outlined study
