Skilled vascular sonographers are invited to provide essential imaging services on an 8-week contract in a dynamic hospital environment. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will play a key role in patient care for individuals requiring vascular studies.
Schedule & Hours:
- 8-week contract duration
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shift: 5x8s with staggered start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
- Rotating call duties: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month
Qualifications:
- Active ARDMS credential required
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Mississippi
- Demonstrated expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams, including both scheduled and emergent studies
- Accurately document and interpret findings for review by physicians
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Work collaboratively with other technologists and clinical staff
- Adhere strictly to hospital protocols and quality assurance guidelines
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
