Vascular Ultrasonographer - Pearl, MS

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours weekly
• 5x8 hour shifts, day shift
• Staggered start times between 7:00am and 8:30am
• Call rotation: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• MS state license to practice as a Vascular Tech/Sonographer
• Demonstrated technical expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions
• Experience with hospital imaging protocols and electronic medical records is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams according to established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document findings and maintain detailed patient records
• Prepare and position patients for scans with attention to comfort and safety
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent requests
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area
