Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
- Proficient in performing quality vascular ultrasound and complete echocardiogram studies
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
- Successful completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, specifically in echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized arrhythmia detection course
- Valid CPR certification (AHA & ARC both accepted)
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and independent judgment
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrated organizational and strong time-management abilities
- Excellent customer service orientation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of high-quality vascular ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures
- Accurately document findings and maintain patient records in line with facility standards
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely and precise diagnostic support
- Uphold all safety and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused service in both independent and collaborative settings
- Demonstrate flexibility, adapting to rapidly changing priorities as needed
