This role offers meaningful professional development through immersion in an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab, exposing you to diverse imaging protocols, leadership styles, and collaborative teams. You’ll broaden your clinical acumen, build an even more robust resume, and enjoy memorable downtime against the backdrop of New York state’s picturesque landscapes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5x8s (five 8-hour shifts per week)
  • Shared on-call rotation: one weekday evening every other week, and one weekend on-call approximately every fifth week

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • ARDMS certification required
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in ultrasound preferred
  • Proficiency in performing all major vascular ultrasound studies, including but not limited to:
    • Upper/lower extremity venous/arterial duplex
    • Carotid and bypass graft duplex
    • Mesenteric and renal artery duplex
    • Vein mapping, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification highly desirable
  • Background or interest in interventional radiology is a plus
  • Experience working within IAC-accredited lab standards

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound studies independently
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage
  • Provide imaging services at hospital, outpatient, and outreach locations as needed
  • Maintain assessment and competency documentation for a range of study types
