Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RVT, RDMS, or equivalent) required
• Demonstrated expertise in vascular ultrasound protocols, including venous and arterial imaging
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfort and educate patients
• Adherence to safety, privacy, and infection control standards
• Experience in a fast-paced hospital or imaging center setting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vascular and general ultrasound examinations independently
• Analyze sonographic findings and provide preliminary reports to radiologists or referring physicians
• Accurately document patient history, procedure details, and technical factors in the electronic medical record system
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness of ultrasound equipment, accessories, and work stations
• Support patient care by explaining procedures, positioning individuals properly, and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless workflow
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to keep skills current
