X-Ray Technician in Akiachak, AK

Deliver essential imaging services in a contract opportunity focused on X-ray procedures and radiographic examinations for patients of all ages. Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts: typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques and equipment
• Experience working with diverse patient age groups
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt to varying workloads and shifting schedule demands

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized radiographic (X-ray) exams as ordered by providers
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and maintaining a comfortable, safe environment
• Ensure high-quality imaging results while adhering to established safety and infection control protocols
• Appropriately position patients and operate radiation-producing equipment
• Accurately document patient data and exam results into medical records
