Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an X-ray Technologist, performing radiographic examinations for patients across all age groups. This unique contract role calls for a skilled imaging professional eager to provide critical diagnostic support in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Schedule:

  • Shift varies: Typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in X-ray imaging with proficiency in a range of radiographic techniques
  • Previous radiologic technologist experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and demonstrate sound judgment in various clinical situations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographic exams on all age groups, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment according to guidelines and manufacturer specifications
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and privacy
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results within electronic medical record systems
  • Support physicians and the clinical team with prompt and effective communication regarding imaging findings
  • Continually participate in ongoing professional development and training
