X-Ray Technician in Asheville, NC

Step into a vital role delivering quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position specializes in X-ray and MRI procedures, offering a valuable opportunity to join a highly skilled diagnostic imaging unit. The contract spans 13 weeks and is available for immediate start.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–10:30pm
• Saturday–Sunday: 8:30am–4:30pm
• Rotating weekends may be required

Qualifications:

• Registered in MRI (required)
• Experienced with X-ray imaging as a Radiologic Technologist
• Familiarity with GE equipment and Cerner EMR
• Breast MRI experience is highly preferred
• Able to administer both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures
• Must wear black scrubs per unit policy

What You’ll Do:

• Perform high-quality MRI and X-ray exams using GE equipment
• Collaborate with a cohesive team of 9, including technologists and nursing staff
• Prepare and position patients for a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after scans
• Maintain accurate records within the Cerner EMR system
• Follow all department protocols and infection control guidelines
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts as needed
