X-Ray Technician - Bakersfield, CA

Schedule Details:

• 5x8 hour shifts, primarily afternoons
• Occasional overnight shifts may be required

Required Qualifications:

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current and valid California Radiology License
• Previous experience working as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing clinical needs and provide compassionate patient care

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to best-practice imaging standards
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce clear images with minimal patient discomfort
• Accurately position patients and select technical factors as appropriate for the examination
• Maintain and update patient records with timely entry of procedural data
• Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare professionals to support overall patient care and workflow efficiency
