Schedule:
- Variable shifts, alternating between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
Position Qualifications:
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
- Strong technical proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and imaging software
- Ability to conduct radiographic exams with attention to accuracy, safety, and patient comfort
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Interest in pursuing direct employment with the facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and infection control protocols
- Accurately position patients to obtain clear and usable images per physician orders
- Maintain detailed, precise documentation of procedures
- Provide reassurance and guidance to patients throughout their exam process
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to deliver timely and accurate imaging results
- Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment as needed
