Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with varying shifts to support urgent care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, efficiently handling front office operations using checklists and EMR protocols.
  • Process patient payments and ensure a welcoming, professional environment for all guests.
  • Room and triage patients, document symptoms, history, and vital signs in the EMR.
  • Assist in specimen collection, conduct point-of-care tests, and manage lab sends.
  • Support minor procedures under provider supervision.
  • Perform radiologic technologist duties: prepare and operate X-ray equipment, manage image processing, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Clean and restock exam suites, monitor supplies, and participate in training new staff.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Current state licensure as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a high-volume urgent care setting or ER strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional bedside manner with patients of all ages.
  • Commitment to outstanding patient care and customer service.
  • Effective communicator; organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Proficient with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
