Travel X-Ray Technician | Burlington, North Carolina

This travel assignment offers the opportunity to advance your career as an Imaging X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist, working in a renowned Level II trauma center. Here, you’ll expand your professional repertoire, learn innovative imaging techniques, and gain hands-on experience in a high-volume environment serving a diverse population.

Develop your skills alongside top professionals, navigating the challenges and rewards of a busy hospital setting with exposure to advanced equipment, including Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips x-ray systems, GE OEC c-arms, and an O-arm. Collaborate with clinicians in a state-of-the-art institution known for providing expert care across emergency, surgical, and pediatric units.

Schedule/Hours:

• 33.5 hour contract, Nights
• Friday: 1x9.5 (8:00p-5:30a)
• Saturday & Sunday: 2x12s (7:00p-7:30a)

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT certification and active BLS
• OR imaging experience (minimum 1 year, 2+ years highly preferred)
• PACS, Portables, C-Arm, and contrast studies experience
• Proficiency with EPIC (Interlad preferred)
• Experience in a fast-paced hospital, trauma, and surgical (fluoro and OR) settings
• Capable first-time travelers are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a variety of imaging studies throughout the hospital (fluoro, OR, ED, NICU, inpatient, outpatient)
• Execute portable X-rays and assist with endoscopic and interventional procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring exceptional patient care
• Maintain precise documentation with the EPIC system
• Adapt to a dynamic, high-volume workload safely and efficiently
