Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • State licensure as required by Michigan regulations
  • Previous experience in X-ray imaging within a clinical or hospital environment
  • Strong proficiency with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to established safety protocols
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with patients and team members
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of routine and specialized X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Accurately document imaging findings and maintain patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot X-ray equipment to ensure peak performance and safety
  • Comply with radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and facility guidelines at all times
  • Assist radiologists and medical staff with diagnostic procedures as necessary
