Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
  • Proficient in general X-ray examinations and imaging protocols.
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation safety procedures and patient positioning.
  • Experience operating digital radiography systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and medical staff.
  • Current BLS certification required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographic imaging based on physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and infection control measures.
  • Accurately position patients for optimal imaging results, providing clear instructions and compassionate care.
  • Assess and verify imaging requests, ensuring proper documentation and exam accuracy.
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
  • Effectively manage workflow in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Support physicians by providing clear, timely imaging results.
