Schedule:
- Days, 5x8 hour shifts
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No on-call requirements
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Valid Texas Radiologic Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience performing X-ray imaging procedures in a clinical or hospital setting
- Ability to work efficiently and compassionately with both patients and interdisciplinary medical teams
- Strong technical skills with standard X-ray equipment and digital imaging systems
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring safety and comfort
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and standardized protocols
- Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance standards
