X-Ray Technician - Chester, WV

Step into a dynamic imaging department as a vital member of a collaborative radiology team. This contract opportunity offers a steady schedule and a high-volume, technologically advanced environment suitable for skilled X-ray Techs/Radiologic Technologists. Work in a department equipped with four rooms (including general x-ray, fluoro, and C-Arms) and the support of experienced techs, a lead tech, and leadership always available by phone.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Afternoon and midnight shifts
• Every other weekend midnight rotation

Qualifications:

• Active BLS and ARRT credentials
• Valid West Virginia X-ray License and eligibility for WV CARES clearance before starting
• Experience across General X-ray, Portables, OR, and Fluoro settings
• Accepts first-time travelers with a willingness to float between general, OR, and fluoro departments
• Ability to provide proper documentation, including an unexpired driver’s license at submission
• Licensing disclosures must be made at submission

Responsibilities:

• Conduct general X-ray studies, OR imaging for cases like cystos, ortho, GI, and fluoro for orthopedic and GI procedures
• Rotate between various imaging areas as needed, including covering different shifts
• Operate equipment from top brands (GE, Siemens, Philips, Del Medical)
• Prioritize safety, accuracy, and patient care while handling average volumes of 110 studies per day
• Work both independently (being the only tech overnight) and as part of a well-staffed team during peak hours
• Maintain clean, professional appearance in scrubs (any color permitted; Emerald Green preferred if matching staff)
