X-Ray Technician in Clearlake, CA

Step into a valuable imaging role, providing essential X-ray and radiologic technologist services on a contract basis. In this position, you’ll leverage your expertise to deliver high-quality diagnostic images, supporting optimal patient care over a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Day shifts, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• California Fluoroscopy License
• Experience with mammography procedures required
• Proven competency with X-ray equipment and techniques
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and mammography exams in accordance with standard protocols and safety regulations
• Operate and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure clear, high-quality results
• Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient workflow
• Explain imaging procedures, preparing and positioning patients as required
• Monitor patients during examinations, offering compassionate care and responding to needs
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to radiologic practices
